Lebanese people are grateful to Azerbaijan for the decision to provide humanitarian assistance, Nazih Gassub, the honorable consular of Azerbaijan in Lebanon, exclusively told Trend.
Gassub noted that he is going to appear on one of the TV channels and express gratitude to the Azerbaijani president for the initiative to render assistance. During such a hard situation of Lebanese people, such aid is of great importance. This initiative id highly assessed in Lebanon, Gassub told.
The diplomat said that he is going to hold discussions at the Interior Ministry of Lebanon to define what type of aid Lebanon needs.
