The Turkish Cabinet of Ministers has announced that the Department of Emergency Situations under Turkish Government forwarded 80 tons of humanitarian aid, the purchase of which was funded by Azerbaijan. Four automobiles carrying humanitarian aid were dispatched from Adana City, Trend reports quoting a Turkish mass media.
By making a speech in the dispatch ceremony, the Assistant Governor of the region Abdulla Dolek expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani Government, noting that the main part of the humanitarian cargos consisted of foodstuffs.
In turn, the Consul of Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara Ilham Nazarli noted that Azerbaijan considers it as its duty to render assistance to the Lebanese people.
