Politics Materials 12 September 2006 19:24 (UTC +04:00)

Recently, there has been a serious split concerning certain issues between the party Musavat and us, particularly concerning geopolitical issues, opposition Musavat party`s group`s MP Panakh Husseyn told journalists during the interview today, Trend reports.

Representing the opposition, Mr. Husseyn is one of those politicians who are closer to Musavat in his ideas. He said that recently there has been a difference in opinions concerning a number of issues. It is inevitable that different currents appear on the path where those who strive for certain selfish ends walk, pointed out Mr. Husseyn.

However, the MP told that his political position is closer to the position this party has followed. He also said that up to now opposition MPs groups in the Parliament have not achieved any significant aims in their activity. Up to now, the activity of Musavat party`s MPs group and the opposition MPs group in the Milli Majlis has not become united actually. That is why I do not see any significant difference between these two groups from the point of view of practical work. I think that the founding of any serious MPs group in this Parliament is likely possible today. If social and political activity arise in the country, then a ground for founding such groups in the parliament will become possible, told Mr. Husseyn.
