The next meeting of Milli Majlis [Azerbaijani Parliament] was held on October 13. The meeting focused on the bills On non-state (private) guarding activities and On state debt, Trend reports.
For the first bill, the information was provided by the Chairman of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission for State Establishment and Legal Policy Ali Huseynov. He stressed that the bill is aimed at guarding the juridical and physical persons, properties of entrepreneurs, transport means, movable and unmovable estate.
In addition, the Chairman of the Commission stressed that approximately 30 private guarding firms function in Azerbaijan.
After his speech, debates were organized on the bill. Gudrat Hasanguliyev, Elmira Akhundova, Nizami Khudiyev, Panah Huseyn, Siyavush Novruzov and other deputies expressed attitudes towards the bill. It was stated that is needs to create a unified guarding service to regulate the issue. In addition, the deputies mentioned then importance of creating an alternative guarding service.
