On 19 October the Chairman of the Garabagh Liberation Organization (GLO), Akif Naghi, and activists of the Organization visited the French Embassy in Azerbaijan to voice their protest, Trend reports.

The protestors lay black colored carnations in front of the Embassy to express their feelings towards France's dishonorable acts. Later they presented a petition to the Embassy.

The document observes that France is a country with ancient traditions of statehood and republicanism, a supporter of democratic rights and freedom and a country which has always supported human rights on a grand scale and also known for its idealism. Unfortunately, the Country with such traditions now seems to have become a puppet to a group of Armenian lobbyists and have introduced dishonorable laws and resolution that contradict everything they believe in.

France that made a resolution on the so-called Armenian genocide' at the order of the Armenian lobbyists which grossly violates human rights: this cannot be regarded as the cradle of democracy, freedom and equality. There does not exist free, democratic and civilized France and it has died. In this respect we voice deep condolences to the people of France and the civil world, the statement read.
