On November 24, a meeting was held in Baku between the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Oktay Asadov and the Chairman of the Bulgarian Popular Assembly, Grigori Prinski, Trend reports with reference to the Press-Service of the Parliament.
The Speaker said that Azerbaijan attaches a great importance to the development of the co-operation with the European countries, including Bulgaria. The documents signed within the visit of the state heads create good conditions for the development of the relations, the Speaker underlined. Speaking about the 28th Plenary Session of the General Assembly the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation held in Baku on 22-23 November, Asadov said that the chairmanship was transferred from Azerbaijan to Bulgaria. The Speaker highlighted the importance of developing the relations and exchanging lawmaking experiences.
Prinski expressed his gratitude for conducting the 28th Session of BSEC PA at a high level. According to him, Bulgaria is interested in developing the relations with Azerbaijan. He said that all opportunities should be studied for all-sided development of the interstate relations.
