Talat Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine, exclusively informed Trend that Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, will visit Ukraine.
In compliance with an inquiry held by the international organization National Program on Man of the Year, the Azerbaijani President was awarded in the category Political and State Figure 2006 and prize awarding ceremony will be held on 17 March 2007.
The Ambassador said that the organization annually holds events and names outstanding figures in the political, science and culture sectors worldwide. Attending the event were prominent political, state, cultural figures and scientists of Europe.
During the Azerbaijani President visit to Kiev it is planned to open the Azerbaijan culture days in Ukraine, as well as a gala festival of Azerbaijan cuisine. A special magazine will be issued in Ukrainian language in this respect.
Mr. Aliyev said that the festival will demonstrate Azerbaijan cuisine in Ukraine and the meals assimilated by Armenians in fact are the value of the Azerbaijani people.
