The Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Zakir Garalov, informed Trend that Justice Minister of Georgia, Gie Kavtaradze, is interested in the court-legal reforms implemented in Azerbaijan.
According to him, during the meeting, the Georgian Minister spoke about the reformation of the legislation of Georgia and Penal service, creation of new detention institutions that would meet the European standards, creation of new Criminal Procedural Code and implementation of work on protection of human rights.
In his turn, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan mentioned the creation of the new Appeal Courts in the regions and increases in staff of prosecutors, as well as spoke about employment in the Prosecutor General through test exams.
