The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to United Arab Emirates (UAE), Eldar Salimov, informed Trend that International Defence Exhibition Conference (IDEC) 2007 will take place on February 18-22 in the UAE capital.
The Ambassador said that the exhibition takes place each two years and is one of the worldwide-recognized exhibition-conference in the defense sphere.
Azerbaijan will be represented in the exhibition at the high level. The Azerbaijan delegation will be headed by the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Safar Abiyev.
Within the participation in the exhibition, the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan will meet with the Vice President, Prime Minister, Emir of Dubai and Defense Minister, Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al Maktum and Chief of Headquarter of the UAE Armed Forces, Said Al Rumeysi, Ambassador said.
