Commander of the Land Forces of Turkey, Ilker Bashbug, will visit Azerbaijan on 6-8 March, Trend reports with reference to the Embassy of Turkey in Azerbaijan. The visit aims at discussing bilateral military co-operation of Azerbaijan and Turkey. Within the visit, the Turkish Commander will hold negotiations with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev and the Defense Minister, Safar Abiyev.
The prospects of the military co-operation between Azerbaijan and Turkey will also be the focus of attention during the forthcoming visit of the Second Chief of the Headquarter of the Armed Forces of Turkey, Argun Saygin, to Azerbaijan between February 26 and March 1. Saygin is expected to meet with Safar Abiyev, as well as Ilham Aliyev.
