Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Alizade / Hearings commenced in Parliament of Azerbaijan with regards to the 15 th Anniversary of Khojali genocide. The Chairman of the Parliament, Oktay Asadov, stated that the Khojali genocide was the most terrible tragedy committed by the Armenians against Azerbaijan .
"Khojali genocide is a crime that has not been only against the Azeri people, but all mankind. Our people will never forget this tragedy . We are sure that sooner or later, the people who committed genocide in Khojali will be punished," the Speaker said. Afterward, a film was shown prepared by the TV center of Parliament, regarding Khojali genocide.
The hearing continued with a speech from Bahar Muradova, the Vice Speaker of the Parliament and Chairwoman of the Commission for 15 th Anniversary of Khojali.
