Kazakhstan, Astana / corr. Trend K.Konirova / The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, stated in his interview with Trend Correspondent in Astana that as there are more routes for transportation of energy resources as it is in favor of Azerbaijan. He was commenting on the message made by the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to people of Kazakhstan.
"It is very remarkable that such an important document for your country pays significant attention to the energy strategy of the country. Not without reason, many politicians call 21st century as energy century," Mr. Mammadyarov said. He particularly stressed Nazarbayev's statement that presently management over gas resources and export corridors should be especially effective in the energy strategy. These are the key accents, which will serve as basis for further economic co-operation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
"President Nursultan Nazarbayev sees peace over the next 50 years and I fully share his position. Today many countries acknowledge that as more routes for energy supplies as more selection. So, as there are more ways to select, as more opportunities to adopt right resolution," Minister Mammadyarov stressed.
The Azerbaijani Minister noted that the President of Kazakhstan has chosen the right strategy. Establishing his policy on ways of many routes, he actually provides a platform for the strengthening of his country and its sovereignty," Mr Mammadyarov added.
