Amirdjanov/ Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, the Fisrt lady of Azerbaijan, Ambassador of the UNESCO Good Will and ISESCO, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament of the Milli Majlis , has participated at the annual summury gathering of UNESCO being held in Strasburg, Trend reports referring to the national AzTV Channel.
Koushiro Maasuro, the Secretary General, opening the summary annual gathering of UNESCO, congratulated the UNESCO Good Will Ambassadors with the seventh annual summary gathering, and told about the international activity conducted by UNESCO. He noted that owing to the help of the Ambassador of the UNESCO Good Will, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, the Organization could establish close cooperation with Azerbaijan.
For her part, the Azerbaijani First lady an the Ambassador of the UNESCO Good Will told about her activity in Azerbaijan as UNESCO Good Will Ambassador, measures taken to protect trhe non-material spiritual monuments , as well as projects under the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the field of education, helth care, etc.
Then, Mrs. Aliyeva met the Ambassadors of the UNESCO Good Will, Lithuania's President Valcus Adamkus, and Jordan's Queen, Raziyya Al Abdullah
