Zarbaliyeva / The Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice reported on 10 April that the Executive Committee of the International Prosecutors Association held a meeting in Santiago, Chile. The Association united 20 international law enforcement bodies. Fikrat Mammadov, Azerbaijani Minister for Justice and a member of the Committee, was in attendance.
Important organizing matters were discussed at the meeting. The members of the Committee delivered their reports. Methods to improve the organization's activities were also considered. A presentation ceremony dedicated to the renewal of the Internet site in Russian, carried out by Azerbaijan, was held. New representatives were elected. As a result of a secret vote, the Azerbaijani Minister of Justice was unanimously re-elected for the fourth time.
Mammadov became familiar with the activities of the appropriate bodies in Chile. He reported on the legal reforms carried out in Azerbaijan, the construction of new prisons and used the opportunity to exchange experiences.
