Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E.Huseynly / The Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), Ali Ahmadov, said on 17 April that Azerbaijan had fully implemented all obligations undertaken before the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
According to him, the statements by separate persons represented in PACE that Azerbaijan had not fully implemented its obligations before the Council of Europe, does not have not any grounds. Ahmadov considers that since Azerbaijan has joined the Council of Europe, it has been implementing policies and gradually fulfilling its obligations. "Normal relations exist between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe and those who do not recognize this, are intent on harming the international image of Azerbaijan" Ahmadov added.
