Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E.Huseynly / On 7 May the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, sent a congratulatory message to Nikolai Sarcozi on his election as the President of France.
President Ilham Aliyev stated in his congratulatory message that he attaches a great importance to the relations between Azerbaijan and France. "I am sure that the relations and co-operation between Azerbaijan and France in many spheres will always develop for the welfare of the French and Azeri people," the letter read.
