Azerbaijani Republic Day to be Celebrated in Moscow

Russia, Moscow / Тrend corr R. Aghayev / The 89th Anniversary of the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan will be celebrated in Moscow. The events to be held on 28-29 May will be organized by the Azerbaijani Congress of Russia (ACR) and the Russian State Social University (RSSU).

An exhibition 'Days of Azerbaijani Republic' will be held in the RSSU on 28 and 29 May which will be opened on the morning of the 28 May, involving Azerbaijani artists (painters, sculptors, etc). Later, various lectures will be delivered with the participation of the rector of the Baku Slavonic University, Kamal Abdullah. A KVN Club (Wiseguys and Wisecracks) will take place in the evening where Azerbaijani students and the RSSU students will take part. The head of the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russian Federation, the president of Azerbaijani Club of the MSUIR (Moscow State University of International Relations), Leyla Aliyeva, has been invited to the festival.

A round table on the topic of 'Azerbaijani Diaspora in Russia: Urgent Problems of Inter-National Relations' will be held on 29 May within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijan in RSSU. The event will be attended by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia, Polad Bulbuloghlu, the directors of the Azerbaijani diaspora organizations, as well as Russian experts, diplomats, politicians, representatives of scientific and socio-political circles.

The Azerbaijani Republic Day will hold official events followed by a concert and a sombre conclusion.
