Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Huseyinli / Sardar Jalaloglu, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP), stated on 6 June that several political blocs with participation of opposition parties of the country would be founded due to forthcoming Presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
The opposition parties will unite within blocs to nominate the candidates to the post of President.
Presently, Azerbaijani opposition parties are divided into several fronts. The process of unification of opposition parties is inevitable.
ADP was found by Jalaloglu in 1991. The supporters of Rasul Gujliyev left the party and found their own Open Society Party of Azerbaijan.
