Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend P.Amirjanov / On 6 June the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received
the U.S. company Citigroup's Chairman for Europe, Sir Winfried Bischoff. Sir Win Bischoff noted that he is pleased to be in Azerbaijan which he said he is visiting for the first time. He said Azerbaijan's successful policy was initiated by nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and is continued today by President Ilham Aliyev. President Aliyev said Azerbaijan has achieved huge progress in all sectors over the last few years. The Azerbaijani leader stressed his country's economy is now rapidly growing.
