Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. S.Agayeva / The President of Ukraine, Victor Yushenka, arrived in Baku to attend the forthcoming 19 June summit of the State Heads of "Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM".
During the summit, the Ukrainian President will hold bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus and Poland, Lekh Kachinsky. On 19 June, Yushenka will participate and present a report at the plenary meeting of the GUAM summit. Upon the completion of the summit, a ceremony will take place to sign the Baku declaration of "Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM". The document will be signed by the Presidents of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Moldova. A press conference will take place after the summit.
During his visit to Azerbaijan, the State Head of Ukraine will be accompanied by Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Alexander Egorov, Chairman of the State Border Service, Nikolai Litvin, Chairman of the State Committee for Nuclear Affairs, Elena Mikolaychuk, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Secretariat, Alexander Chaly and Minister of Emergency Situations, Nestor Shufrich.
