Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend E.Huseynov / The US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Anne Derse, said on 16 July that results of US-Azerbaijani security consultations were positively assessed.
"The consultations focused on the security of Azerbaijan, particularly prospects of ensuring the Caspian's security, the joint fight in the prevention of the spread of weapons of mass destruction, Azerbaijan's contribution to the fight against terrorism and Azerbaijan's integration into NATO," the Ambassador said.
The US-Azerbaijani security consultations took place on 9-10 July in Washington.
