Eight Agreements and One Protocol on Bilateral Cooperation to be Signed during  Tajikistan President’s Visit to   Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Aghayeva / Nine documents regarding the development of bilateral cooperation are expected to be signed during the approaching official visit of Tajikistan President, Emomali Rahmonov, to Azerbaijan between 13 and 14 August, the head of the Information Department of Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry, Davlatali Nazriyev, reported from Dushanbe on 9 August.

The list of the documents includes the agreements on 'Cooperation in Free Trade', 'Cooperation in Science and Engineering', Cooperation in Prevention of Double Taxation', 'Cooperation in Education', 'Cooperation in Communications', 'Cooperation between Justice Ministries of the two Countries', 'Cooperation in Stylistics', and 'Cooperation between Governments on Principles of Indirect Taxation of Goods and Services'. The parties will also sign the Protocol on 'Cooperation between Aviation Companies of the two Countries in Aviation Services', Nazriyev reported.

According to an official representative of Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry, political documents will not be signed during the visit. "The agreement on friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan was signed in March during the official visit of Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, to Dushnbe," the diplomat noted.
