Several Hospitals Buildings in Azerbaijan’s Gabala District in Dire Condition

Azerbaijan, Sheki /corr. Trend E.Guliyev / Three ambulatories and one medical center in Azerbaijan's district of Gabala are in a dire condition, the head physician of Gabala Central Hospital, Sabir Bayramov, said on 21 September.

"The ambulatories in Mihligovag, Tuntul and Zalam villages and medical centre in Nij settlement are in a dire condition and there is a demand for a new building, Bayramov said. He stressed that he had appealed to the appropriate organizations to repair the centre. According to him, after the construction of a diagnostic centre in the district, the medical centers in the villages will be repaired.

The head physician said he also highlighted the lack of professional staff in the district. "There are 17 vacancies in the village ambulatories. Pediatricians, gynaecologists and stomatologist are particularly in demand," he said.

Gabala district is located in 240km from Baku.
