Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. Z.Safarov / The Azerbaijani free style team took twelfth place in the 2007 World Championships at the Sport Concert Complex after the name of Heydar Aliyev.
Thanks to the bronze won by Chamsulvar Chamsulbarayev in the 74kg category the home team received eight points. However, the teams from Albania, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan tied with the same score. Yet the wrestlers trained by coach, Yagub Mammadov, cannot collect the necessary scores, as Khetag Gazumov (96kg) and Ali Isayev (120kg) lost their chance to win bronze.
The Russian wrestlers took first place with a total of forty-eight points.
