Society Materials 13 October 2007 05:23 (UTC +04:00)

( RT ) - Another row has blown up over the plastic pitch being used for next week's vital Euro qualifier between Russia and England. A former Lokomotiv Moscow player now says the Moscow surface could cause injuries to players.

Garry O'Connor says it hurts for several days after playing on it.

And the striker, who now plays in England, added any player carrying an injury could be in trouble.

However, Russia coach Guus Hiddink denies it gives his team an advantage.

He says he prefers grass, but Luzhniki was the only option because of its large capacity.
