Case on Collapse of Building in Baku’s District of Narimanov Forwarded to Court
Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / The criminal case filed with regards to collapse of the building in Baku's district of Narimanov which led to death of two and injuring of four people was forwarded to the court for consideration.
Aliyev Eldar Malumatoglu, a resident of the Alkhanli village of Fizuli region of Azerbaijan, died and three men were injured as a result of the collapse of the building on 1 August in the district of Narimanov. A criminal case was filed over the collapse of a newly constructed three-storey trade and office centre in Narimanov district, in compliance with Article 162.2 of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan. A source reported to Trend on 12 November that Yusif Guliyev, who constructed then building, have been instituted to the investigation as suspect.
The case is considered by Narimanov Court.
In addition, the building in Neapol Leisure Center and 16-storey building in one of the central streets of Baku collapsed, which caused numerous victims.
