Only 20 doctors work in the Dashkasan District and there are 70 vacancies," Mirzakarim Tagiyev, the head physician of the Dashkasan District Central Hospital, said. According to Tagiyev, this is the mountainous district and it is difficult to attract doctors.
Tagiyev said that the new hospital will be built in 2008 and it will increase the demand for doctors.
The Azerbaijani Health Ministry allocated nearly AZN 5mln for building the hospital.
