Azerbaijani TV Broadcasting  Council Reveals Violations in Radio

Azerbaijan, Baku, 25 April / Trend corr. G.Jabiyev / The National Council on TV and Radio Broadcasting has announced the results of its monitoring held over various radio stations. "The serious violations have been observed in various radio programs. As per the law, commercials should be broadcasted only after every 15 minutes, but the monitoring uncovered that the commercials are broadcasted every two or three minutes, Nushiravan Maharramli, Chairman of National Council on TV and Radio Broadcasting, stated to journalists on 25 April.

Broadcasting Council held monitoring over the Space, ANS CM and Azad Azerbaijan radio stations. 

According to Maharramli, monitoring revealed that the presenters violate the 'Bill on TV and radio broadcasting' and allow irrelevant conversations. Violation was also observed in the Bill on protection of rights of juveniles.
