Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 April / Trend corr. R.Ergun / The Azerbaijani FIFA referee will act as a referee in the game of International rating. According to the information released by the Azerbaijani Football Federation Association (AFFA), Babak Guliyev, an Azerbaijaini referee, would act a referee in the games held within the framework of the Intertoto Cup.
Guliyev will Act as a referee in the games amongst Norway and Lithuanian and Estonian teams.
FIFA and UEFA appoint referees to observe the games of international rating that are held amongst the national teams and clubs. Tofig Bahramov, Azerbaijani referee was amongst the referees who monitored the final game between Germany and Britain in 1966.
Currently Guliyev is one of the three referees in FIFA from Azerbaijan.
Guliyev refereed over the game between Gabala and Simurg teams in the latest tournament of Premier League in Azerbaijan. AFFA Committee of Referees rated Guliyev's activity with 8.4 points.
