Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 May / Trend corr. R.Ergun / The stadium of the Azerbaijani football club Kapaz is not ready for new season. "Repair work should be held in the stadium. Especially, the lawn in the stadium is in the bad state," Mehman Allahverdiyev, Vice President of Kapaz, stated to Trend .
Beginnings from 2006, Kapaz did not participate in the Azerbaijani Championship because of financial difficulties. Rovnag Abdullayev, President of the Association of Football Federation of Azerbaijan (AFFA), attracted sponsor to restore the club's activity.
Allahverdiyev stated that he was not informed exactly about the sponsor. "We were told to wait till the end of the Championship. The name of the new sponsor of Kapaz will be announced in the end of the season. We hope that Kapaz will act in the first division rather than in the Prime League,' Allahverdiyev said.
The Ganja-based club of Kapaz is one of the best titled clubs in Azerbaijan. This club won gold three times and four Cups in Azerbaijan.
Allahverdiev participated in all successes of Kapaz as a coach. Since, the team has stopped its activity in Championship Allahverdiev has been taking the Vice President position.
