Turkish National Team’s Chief Coach Retires

Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 June / Trend corr E. Huseynli/ According to Turkey's media reports, chief coach of Turkish national team Fatih Terim has retired. Though the reports have not yet been officially confirmed, after the defeat in the semi-final of the European Championship to the German national team, 2:3, 55-year-old Terim preferred to leave the team.

"I spoke to the players in the checkroom and thanked them all. Then I met with the President of the federation Hasan Dogan to state my intention to leave the team," Terim said. According to him, he is not going to work coach in a Turkish tea. Most likely he will switch to a European country.

Football clubs of Greece, England and Italy are interested in Terim.
