Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 June / Trend corr J. Babayeva/ "Head of the Democratic Elections Centre Rauf Zeyni, chairman of the Turkish Universities' Graduates Association Chingiz Bayramov and the head of the Association of Social Problems Research Maharram Zulfugarli have been announced candidates to the presidential position of the National Forum of NGOs," Deputy Chairman of the National Forum of NGOs Rauf Zeyni said at a press conference in Baku on 30 June.
Former President of the National Forum of NGOs Azay Guliyev retired, since he was elected chairman of the Council of State Support to NGOs attached to President. Rauf Zeyni will be fulfilling chairman's duties by the 7th out of turn meeting of the organization.
According to Zeyni, nine NGOs were admitted to the National Forum of NGOs during preparations to the organization's forum and currently the Forum unites 479 NGOs.
The 7th out of turn meeting of the National NGOs Forum will take place in the Opera and Ballet Theatre on 2 July. The meeting will hold elections to all governing bodies of the Forum - presidents, administration and control commission. Forum's governing bodies are elected ones in four years.
