Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 August/ Trend , corr R. Ergun/ The Azerbaijnai taekwondo player Rashad Ahmadov got into a semi-final of Beijing Olympics by winning over player from Canada.
The clash between Ahmadov and Canadian sportsmen was very tense. The score was not opened during the clash and the winner was determined by gold points. He was announced winner in 80kg weight category.
Ahmadov was fourth in the previous Olympics in Athens.
