Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 September/ Trend , corr R. Ergun/ New chief coach of Neftchi football club of Azerbaijan Hans Yurgen Gede said it is impossible to invite footballers from Germany to the team he leads.
"German footballers can not play in Azerbaijan. The atmosphere and climate is totally different here. We should forget about inviting German footballers to Neftchi for a time being," the German coach said in a press conference on 5 September.
Gede was assistant trainer of Azerbaijan's national team before his coming to Neftchi club.
The German chief coach said he was offered to work for Neftchi after testing match of the national team in Tehran.
"Neftchi has problems and we should solve them. We will have ten-day trainings in Turkey. We will have better chance to see shortcomings of the team during these trainings," he said.
Rob Reekers, the Dutch assistant to Gede also took part in a press conference.
Gede informed about his assistant and said they had worked together with Reekers in Germany. "Reekers has lived in Germany for 20 years. He was a very good footballer. We know each-other very well".
The chief coach of Neftchi said they have lost their bags while coming from Germany to Azerbaijan.
