Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 November / Trend corr. I.Alizade / Azerbaijanis living and studying in the United Kingdom founded a newspaper.
Odlar Yurdu (Land of Fire) newspaper will be published in the Azerbaijani language a month, Ilham Nagiyev, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, told journalists on 12 November.
According to Nagiyev, the new newspaper targets to strengthen union of Azerbaijanis living abroad and to expand communication amongst them. Odlar Yurdu will be spread in some European countries, as well.
Nagiyev said that they will seek to increase periodicity of the newspaper soon.
"Everything depends on readers' attitude toward us. I hope the newspaper will become a favorite issue of our Diaspora within a short period of time," the editor-in-chief said.
Presentation ceremony of the first issue of the newspaper will be held in London within next few days, Nagiyev said.
