The Turkish parliament will discuss the Khojali genocide.
"On the threshold of the 17th anniversary of the genocide, the Turkish parliament will hold discussions to remind younger generation of the tragedy," Turkish-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Friendly Group Co-Chairman Mustafa Kabakchi told Trend in a telephone conversation from Ankara on Feb. 6.
On the night of Feb. 25-26, 1992, Armenian armed forces killed 613 people, including 106 women and 83 children in Khojali, Azerbaijan. A total of 1,275 people were taken prisoner.
The Turkish parliament discussed the Khojali genocide in 2008 as well, he said.
