Leyla Aliyeva elected chairman of All-Russia Youth Organization "Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia"
Russia, Moscow, April 18 / Trend , I.Bragina/ Head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Russian Office, ICYF-DC (Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation) for Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator Leyla Aliyeva has been elected the chairman of the All-Russia Youth Organization "Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia" (AYOR) whose founding meeting took place in Moscow on April 18.
During her speech, Leyla Aliyeva thanked the participations of the conference for her election to the position of the organization's chairman. Leyla Aliyeva noted that she will further advance the Azerbaijani youth's interests in Russia and world in this new position.
Leyla Aliyeva also emphasized importance of unifying Azerbaijani youth in Russia.
A total of 296 delegates comprising 300 people attended the founding conference of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia. The organization's regulations were adopted and members of the board and control-revision commission were elected in the conference.
The participants adopted the AYOR's address to the Russian community and youth at the end of the conference. This address stresses importance of establishing the organization. "Truly, we conducted great organization work which enabled to unify youth from 65 Russian subjects in our organization," the address said.
The document also focuses on priorities of the organization. "We openly and loudly state about our priorities, because they fully meet interests of the multinational state. Our priority is to form educated, knowing and being proud of Motherland, as well as patriotic youth," the address said.
Representatives of youth from different regions of Russia, including Tomsk, Vladivostok, St.-Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Rostov-on-Don and Ufa made speech at the conference, as well.
A great concert began after the founding conference. Azerbaijani First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Good-Will Ambassador and Azerbaijani Parliamentarian Mehriban Aliyeva attended the concert.
