The seventh stage of Grand-Prix on rhytmic gymnastics completed in Spanish town Marbella. Azerbaijani gymnast Anna Gurbanova participated there.
As a result of all round competion vice-champion of Europe-2009 enetered three finals of four, press-service of Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation said.
She demonstrated her best result in final exercise with riboon by ranking the fourth place. She yield to Israeli gymnast Irina Risenzon 0.2 ponts. Risenzon ranked the third place. Gurbanova ranked the fifth place in exercise with rope (26.75) and the sixth place in exercise with hoop (26.85).
Russian gymnast Yevgeniya Kanayeva, Olympic champion of recent cmapionship of Europe in Baku,
was leader in all exercises. Russian gymnast Darya Kondakova got silver. Kazakh gymnast Aliya Yusupova and Belorussian gymnast Melitina Stanyuta got bronze.
The international competition with participation of young gymnasts from CIS countries was held in Sherbinka near Moscow. Laman Hajizadeh (10) and Naida Ahmedli (10) ranked the second and the third places accordingly. These gymnasts will compete for nomination of the best gracies in the end of current week (June 5-6). Roughly 95 gymnasts will participate in five age groups in Baku's championship, including gymnasts out of the competition and from Ganja (8-9, 10, 11, 12-13, 14-15 age). The championship will be held in Olympic sportscomplex.
As concens to international tournaments, Baltic Cup will be held on June 5-7 in Poland. Azerbaijani adult team consisting of Vafa Huseynova, Dina Gorina, Anastasiya Prasolova, Valeria Yegay, Jeyla Guliyeva and Nigar Mirzoyeva will participate there in group exercises
