The Azerbaijani court condemned head of United Russia party in Moscow region of Pechatniki to 8 years of imprisonment.
Executive secretary Shamil Gurbanov, as well as Jumshud Rustamov and Mutallim Akperov are accused of the following articles of the Criminal Code: 178 (fraud), 213 (tax evasion), 320.1 (forgery of identification card or any other official document to use or sell them, as well as making or sale of forged state premiums, stamps, blanks of the Azerbaijani Republic). Gurbanov won confidence of 400 people and defalcated.
Gurbanov and other people were detained at check-point of Ganja international airport. Preliminary investigation on criminal case was conducted by the head department for combat with organized criminality of the interior ministry.
Gurbanov was arrested when he arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in memorial ceremony of his brother.
Shamil Gurbanov and Jumshud Rustamov were condemned to 8 years of imprisonment but Mutallim Akperov to 7 years of imprisonment upon decision of grave crime court.
