Rest camp for psychological and social rehabilitation of children suffering from diabetes was organized under support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in one of Lankaran's rest centers.
The camp was organized from August 1-15, Heydar Aliyev Foundation told Trend on August 11.
The camp admits 30 children from families-invalids of Karabakh war, refugees and forcedly displaced people, as well as families with two or more children suffering from diabetes. Four diabetic doctors, five teachers and two psychologists operate in the camp.
Children make tours of historic places of Lankaran, participate in different sports and entertaining games during rest.
Heydar Aliyev Foundation was established in 2004. Activity of the Foundation aims to develop different spheres in Azerbaijan. Projects in culture, education and health are being implemented for this purpose.
