Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports satisfied with orderliness of Azerbaijani youth abroad

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports is satisfied with orderliness of Azerbaijani youth abroad.

"Azerbaijani youth, studying abroad, intensifies. We are glad of this fact. Cooperation of Azerbaijani youth organizations abroad and implementation of joint projects positively impact on their development and form positive opinion about Azerbaijan in the world," head of the press service of the Ministry, Samaya Mammadova, told Trend on August 12.

Ministry of Youth and Sports supports activity of the Azerbaijani youth abroad, Mammadova said. "The Ministry cooperates with the Azerbaijani youth organizations operating in the CIS and European countries. The ministry expects much from the Azerbaijani youth organizations abroad. They must convey Azerbaijani realities to the world community more effectively, participate in public life of countries they live. But the most important thing is to get qualitative education and become professionals in their business", the head of the press-service said.

Azerbaijani youth has intensified its activity in public life too, Mammadova said. "Youth organizations play important role in increase of activity. They are key partners in realization of state youth policy. Young people also effectively participate in formation of civil society. Co-operation of the ministry with youth organizations and attention of the state ensure full development of young generation," she said.

She said that youth organizations are differ from other NGOs with interesting and long projects. "Azerbaijani youth consists of modern and conscious young people striving for development. It is testified by the new staff in our projects, and young generation of specialists working successfully in many organizations", Mammadova said.

International Youth Day is marked on August 12. Thus, 60 percent of Azerbaijani population is young people (age 14-29). There are 180 children and youth organizations in Azerbaijan.
