A/H1N1 virus kills 2 people in Iran

The number of the people infected with A/H1N1 ("Swine flue") has reached 422, including 6 fatalities, head of the Center for Control over Infectious Diseases and the Borders under the Iranian Health Ministry, Mahmoud Surush, said, the Iranian Fars news agency reported.

The number of the people infected with A/H1N1 ("Swine flue") has reached 422, including 6 fatalities, head of the Center for Control over Infectious Diseases and the Borders under the Iranian Health Ministry, Mahmoud Surush, said, the Iranian Fars news agency reported.

"During the last week the virus killed two people more and the number of the death from swine flue reached six people, including three children," Surush added.

The center expects new splash of diseases with the beginning of cold weather. The Center calls the people to avoid visits abroad and follow rules of personal hygiene.

Iran, the first swine flue case was registered on July.14, Irna news agency reported.

The main symptoms are fever, sore throat, cough, in some cases diarrhea.
