The competition for the best scientific-research work in Arabic philology completed. This competition was announced among young scientists on occasion of 70-year-anniversary of scientist-orientalist, professor, doctor of philology sciences, Aida Imanguliyeva. It was held together with the State Committee on Family, Women and Child Problems and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences.

The competition for the best scientific-research work in Arabic philology completed. This competition was announced among young scientists on occasion of 70-year-anniversary of scientist-orientalist, professor, doctor of philology sciences, Aida Imanguliyeva. It was held together with the State Committee on Family, Women and Child Problems and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences.    

Over 15 tasks were delivered for the competition. Three tasks were chosen among them, rector of the Institute of Oriental Studies Govkhar Bakhshaliyeva said addressing the conference dedicated to 70-year-anniversary of A. Imanguliyeva. These tasks mainly include dissertations, diploma work, articles and books by young scientists, she said.

She said that the competition was organized in memory of Mrs. Imanguliyeva, her role in oriental studies and Azerbaijani public thought. The competition aims to attract young scientists to more serous scientific research. Role of this event in education of young people to respect science and scientists is irreplaceable, Bakhshaliyeva said.  

"Mrs. Imanguliyeva left indelible scent in science. Her creative work is many-sided. Research of emigrated Arabic writers and poets' creative work was major trend of her activity," Bakhshaliyeva said.

Bekira Azizaliyeva held the first place, Lala Bayramova - the second one but Heybat Heybatov - the third one. The rest 12 participants of the competition were also awarded. 

Mrs. Imanguliyeva's important quality was her support for young scientists, chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Child Problems Khijran Huseynova said. These events aim to provide young scientists with information about role of such personalities, scent they left in the history, education of young scientists, she said.

Rector of Baku's branch of Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov, Nargiz Pashayeva, assisted to hold the conference.
