The trial on a criminal case on resident of the Azerbaijani Agstafa region who gave false information about terror action to police has ended.
On Oct. 19, during the hearing at the Azerbaijani Serious Crimes Court prosecutor demanded to punish Samad Ahmadov, who is accused under Article 216 (false report of a terrorist act) for two years imprisonment.
19-year-old Ahmadov called "102" call center of the Interior Ministry to inform about a bomb reportedly laid in the bank and turned off the phone. The information was not confirmed. The law enforcement bodies identified and arrested Ahmadov.
