According to the ministry, active measures are taken in children's clinics, schools and kindergartens.

So far, Azerbaijan has reported three cases of the swine flu.

An Azerbaijani citizen was diagnosed with the A/H1N1 virus Nov. 4. The individual temporarily resides in Ukraine's Ivano-Frankivsk region, and returned to Kurdamir by rail Oct. 26.

Two more cases of the swine flu were discovered the following day. One patient is a relative of the aforementioned patient. The second individual also arrived from Ukraine in November.
