The Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry carried out 1,371 ecological monitoring of the Caspian Sea side, the Ministry reported
The Ministry monitored beaches and enterprises operating in the sea, and identified 341 flows into the Caspian Sea. Some 310 flows have anthropogenic onshore impact on the sea, and 31 were from enterprises.
The Ministry set up 16 local cleaning installations of modular type on the Pirallahi-Sumgait seaside area. The device enables to treat 650 cubic meters of polluted water
The Ministry installed purifying device with capacity of 500 cubic meters in the Bilgah village seaside and another with capacity of 150 cubic meters in the Mardakan village.
