"NGOs which do not submit annual financial reports by Apr.1 will be fined in amount of 2,500 manat," Council Chairman Azay Guliyev said at a staff meeting
The Council of State Support to NGOs of Azerbaijan under Azerbaijani President announced a competition related with financing projects of NGOs in 2010 early December 2009.
Over 480 projects have been submitted to the competition.
The projects are submitted on 22 subjects within seven main directions. About 903,000 manat has been allocated for all the directions
At present the Council is negotiating with the Finance Ministry to reduce the amount of financial sanction.
