Azerbaijan, Baku, March 12 / Trend , K. Zarbaliyeva /
An Acquittal of an individual accused of deliberate murder caused protest of the victim's mother in Azerbaijan.
During a press conference held March 12 in the press center of International News Agency Trend, mother of the murdered, resident of the Yenikend village of Terter region Ismayilova Tazagyul called the Serious Crimes Court's sentence unfair. According to Ismayilova, despite the fact that the killing of son by Fuad Allahverdiyev was entirely proved during the investigation, for unknown reasons, the court passed an unfair and groundless sentence.
Several days ago the Serious Crimes Court acquitted Terter region resident Fuad Allahverdiyev who was charged with the Article 120.2.4 (deliberate murder with special cruelty), and released him in the Court's hall.
According to the charge, Fuad Allahverdiyev committed murder of his fellow-villager Farman Ismayilov in the village Yenikend of Terter region June 19, 2009.
The lawyer, who participated in the press conference grounded illegality of the decision of the court and said that the verdict will be appealed.
