A manual "Philosophy", prepared by a member of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, has been published.
The book includes the system concepts of philosophy, which is a separate subject of science and the spiritual sphere of human activity, including the issue of philosophy, its methods, goals and objectives, basic concepts, categories and trends.
Besides the introduction of philosophy, it has the history of philosophy, including philosophy of the East, the present basis of philosophy, as well as explanations on the political and historical philosophy. Problems of philosophy of ancient and medieval Azerbaijan, as well as the development of philosophical thoughts in Azerbaijan in XIII-XX centuries, are also considered.
The edition is intended for students, teachers and anyone interested in the problems of philosophy.
The book is published by the Ministry of Education as a textbook for high schools.
A critic of the book is the project manager of the Academy of Public Administration under the Azerbaijani President, Head of the State Information Agency AzerTaj Aslan Aslanov, science editor - correspondent of the Azerbaijani Academy of Sciences Bakhtiyar Aliyev.
