Azerbaijan will host a conference dedicated to ecotourism, the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported.
The International Environmental Regional Conference on "Fundamentals of determining the environmental, economic and cultural advantages in the development of ecotourism" and the second meeting of experts on eco-tourism of member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation will be held June 10-12.
The event will discuss the following themes: "Ecotourism potential of the National Parks of Azerbaijan "," Role of ecotourism in the relations of nature and society and international practice in this area "," Regulation of ecotourism activities in national parks "," Role of ecotourism in the modern permanent tourism (the tourist business) "," Ecotourism resource of the Shirvan economic-geographical region of Azerbaijan "," Development of ecotourism in the Shirvan National Park: Prospects and Challenges "," Basic principles of implementation of the ongoing eco-tourism in the Shirvan National Park", "Prospects of development of ecotourism in the Zagatala area "," Development of rural tourism in Azerbaijan (on the example of the Chayli village in the Absheron peninsula) and "Presentation of one particular ecotourism products."
An excursion to the Shirvan National Park will also be held for the participants of the events
